The protagonist Lin Mo is an ordinary young man who grew up in an orphanage and works part-time as an apprentice in an antique shop. He has always hidden the little secret that he can occasionally see "phantoms" (memories of objects). In an accident, he came into contact with an evidence from the murder scene, saw the figure of the murderer and his next target, and was forced to get involved in the case. In order to save himself, he took the initiative to use his abilities to help a cold-faced policewoman (the heroine/important supporting role, Michelle Ye) solve strange cases.
