His soul belongs to a necromancer who studies the true nature of death, yet a broken System forcibly binds him to the role of a Holy Light Priest. For ten whole years, he plays the part of a model of piety within the Church!
Ten years of cold endurance, with his soul burning. Bathed every day in the light he despises most, listening to hypocritical prayers, Victor longs every moment to tear off this damned disguise.
Then, in the tenth year, the System runs out of energy and collapses completely.
That very day, he turns the Pope's youngest son into a skeleton knight.
In the cathedral, the horrified masses await his judgment...
But he casually unleashes a vast, pure Holy Light even more radiant than the Pope's, then sighs helplessly at the devout believers kneeling before him.
“Don't worry. I'm just an ordinary Holy Light Priest, really.”
...Not!
Ten years in hiding, and now the shackles are gone. Holy Light is my shield, the undead my blade.
The “Necronomicon” hidden beneath the Holy See, the bizarre finger bone connected to ultimate death, and the hypocrites who think they control everything...
This undead calamity, starring a Holy Light Priest, is only just beginning.
A very nice book worth recommending
The author has very good writing skills and the plot is very coherent, at least that's the part I've read so far. The logic is self-consistent and the words are sophisticated. It was okay at the beginning, but later on the protagonist lacked impressive characteristics and seemed to be deliberately trying to make a star. The author has a conscience and at least filled in the pitfalls in the form of an outline.
