After the fall of Shanghai, Lao Zhou, the head of the underground party of the Communist Party of China, sent agent Zhao Yue disguised as a dancer to collect intelligence on Japanese military supplies in the "isolated island" of Shanghai. Zhao Yue meets Sato, a Japanese military officer (actually an anti-war activist), who provides her with information in order to atone for his sins. Caught between the Japanese army, traitors, and military commanders, the two successfully blew up the Japanese army's supply warehouse.
