His Sweetness with Just the Right Touch of Salt

Twenty-two-year-old design novice Su Xiao joins the top firm Starshine. She mistakes the aloof director Lu Zeyan for an intern and offers him a strawberry candy, setting off a double adventure in work and love. Gentle on the outside but strong-willed within, her hand-drawn designs are stunning. When colleague Lin Wei makes things difficult for her or rich girl Xia Ran tries to provoke her, Su Xiao always hits back with her professional skills. He's an industry-famous “technical ice mountain,” impossibly demanding at work, yet he remembers every little habit of Su Xiao's: secretly saving her candy wrappers, staying up late to help revise her proposals, and defending her without hesitation in public.

From the flirtatious moment when he guides her hands to pitch a tent while camping, to the teamwork that clears her name when she's falsely accused of plagiarism in a design competition, and finally their takedown of the villain who steals their proposal, the two grow side by side at work. His understated devotion is interwoven with their sweet moments together. When the icy director takes the initiative to confess, “Your sweet and salty sides are just right,” and a ring is engraved with a mark that belongs only to them, their chance meeting at the office becomes a promise of a happy future: “I'll buy breakfast for the rest of our lives, and we'll revise proposals together.”
