Detective Conan: Undercover at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Facing a Hundred Ghosts from the Start

[Detective Conan-style science + crossover] [System + undercover agent]

Chu Xunhuan transmigrates into a crossover world featuring Detective Conan, Cat’s Eye, and Prince of Tennis, and gets bound to the “Diary of a Hundred Ghosts” from the start! He lives three lives at once: a newly promoted police inspector at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, an undercover agent in the Black Organization with the codename “Lang,” and an intelligence operative planted by the CIA. He walks the narrow line between light and darkness.

The “Soul Collection” System activates, turning crime scenes into stepping stones for his growth. Recruit a departed soul and he can draw on the skills it had in life: a race car driver’s incredible drifting, an athlete’s explosive physique, or a scholar’s perfect intellect. As he gathers ghosts, he can expand his territory from a small ghost village into a vast ghost realm, gradually building his own power in the spirit world.

Just after he establishes himself in Beika City, Vermouth delivers an order from the Black Organization: “Complete this critical mission, and I’ll introduce you to the inner circle.” It’s a perilous test, but also a chance to earn the Organization’s trust.

After Conan is shrunk, Chu Xunhuan both talks the grade-schooler into keeping his secret and swipes a voice-changing bowtie and tranquilizer gun from Professor Agasa. At the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Miwako Sato’s admiration and Inspector Megure’s esteem help him climb the ranks. But the Black Organization’s suspicions, the CIA’s probing, and the pressure to level up the ghost realm come one after another. Clutching the Diary of a Hundred Ghosts, Chu Xunhuan sneers, “Want to lay a hand on my people? You’d better ask my ten million ghost servants first!”
