It's so short, it ends suddenly, and it's still unfinished... It's somewhat similar to the setting of a demolition article I've read before. The heroine's husband (who got divorced in the end) is also a sailor, and the heroine sells fruit (it seems to be grapes) at home.
The writing is very good. The parents of small families are short-lived.
