Stellar Flame Academy

The entrance to Starflame Academy was less a gate than a modern art sculpture gleaming with metal and glass, standing arrogantly in the city's most expensive district. Sunlight spilled over every inch of polished marble and the gleaming badges of luxury cars, silently proclaiming: This place is for the rich and powerful. No trespassers. Lin Wei clutched the special admission letter in her hand, which was almost hot to the touch, and stepped awkwardly onto the mirror-smooth floor in her canvas shoes. Her old backpack made a stark contrast with the limited-edition Chanel and Hermes bags around her. The air smelled not of books, but of some expensive, aloof perfume whose name she didn't know.
