On an ordinary rainy day, Natsume Takashi and his friends are climbing a mountain when a downpour forces them to take shelter. By chance, they enter an ancient cinema that has appeared out of nowhere halfway up the mountainside: the Seat of Remembrance.
The theater is empty. Only an old projector starts up by itself, and the screen slowly lights up.
But what appears on it isn’t a fictional story. It’s the private past Natsume has buried deep in his heart and never told anyone about: the loneliness of being passed from household to household as a child, the pain of being called “strange,” the secrets of his encounters with yokai, and the warm everyday life he now treasures so carefully...
Every part of his past that he never wanted anyone to see is transformed into silent images, playing clearly before his closest friends.
Trapped in a cinema with no way out, Natsume is forced to face his most painful memories. After the shock, the heartache, and the silence, understanding and protectiveness quietly take root, and the bonds of friendship face an unexpected trial. Why has the mysterious presence behind this cinema chosen to reveal everything? Could there be a gentle purpose behind it?
This is a tender examination of past pain, and a healing journey about understanding, acceptance, and the bonds that truly matter. When the screen finally goes dark and the rain clears, they will see one another more clearly than ever and step toward a future with greater confidence.
After reading a few chapters, I felt that it was obviously AI. As a movie reviewer, I don't know if it is the plot of the manga. Anyway, there are several plots that are not the plot of the original anime series. They are seriously OOC. For example: Natori joined in midway. When he came in, he said something with the professionalism and caution of a demon slayer. How come the AI automatically defaults to Nishimura and Kitamoto and they know everything, right?
Generally speaking, if you haven't finished watching it, you can watch it if you want to, as long as you don't mind that it has almost nothing to do with the animation. Ninety percent of the movie content is original. If you want to watch the original movie, you can cancel it.
Very well written, thank you!
