Guess why I'm so fixated on you instead of turning around and choosing someone else? Because in a sea of people and among a thousand colors, you alone are the view that makes me want to stop. No matter how wonderful everyone else is, they're only passing through. You're the place I want to return to, to share every morning and evening. Others offer candy and roses, but you give me an entire universe to lose myself in. You're not option A, B, or C. You're the right answer, the sum of every reason my heart beats faster. It's not that I have no choice. Once I chose you, I could no longer see anyone else. Migratory birds are devoted to the south, poets to the moon, and I am devoted to you, for no reason at all. It's instinct, and it's faith. Hundreds of years after world peace, the supernatural returned. Most institutions were transformed into ability-user associations, schools, and shelters. The abilities of most people began to awaken, and there was no distinction between strong and weak abilities. Hundreds of years later, the protagonist arrives at one such school. A mute with a history of great suffering, they find that time cannot erase any of it. Only a handful survived that moment. They are no longer the head of the Ability Association, nor the person at the helm of that company. Now, they are simply a new student. How will their story unfold? It's all unknown.
