I don’t recommend stories with messed-up values! Empress Xie, Xi Hua Zhi, and The Saltless One Becomes Empress are relatively literary, uplifting, and well-plotted, and you can learn things from them! After Breaking Off the Engagement, I Made the General Marry Into My Family, She Panicked After Becoming the Wicked Stepmother, The Mountain Village Man Dotes on His Wife, and Striving Forward are all good. My Blessed Wife is decent too.

Masterpieces for Female Readers, Any Genre

Fantasy, historical romance, modern romance, entertainment industry, angsty stories, sweet stories, anything goes. The male lead shouldn't be an idiot, the female lead shouldn't be a fool, and ideally the villains won't bring about their own downfall (though I'm not holding my breath π_π). Something like Li Jin or Yin Nian.

Looking for Obscure but Great Books, I'm Tired of Popular Ones
