In 1934, on a torrential rainy night, a fire broke out in the century-old theater "Zuixiantai" in Qinghe Town. The famous actress Du Liniang was killed in the flames, leaving behind an unburned human skin playbill. Ten years later, reporter Shen Mo came to the town to investigate a bizarre murder case and found that the deceased's forehead was engraved with the same gongchipu symbols as those in the playbill.
