[The Winery arc is complete; the Story of the Dead is ongoing]
As the main player character in some obscure horror game, Zhudeng awakens to her own consciousness.
After some accursed player gets so scared that they uninstall the game halfway through, you’re left all alone to face the terrifying monster lunging at you.
Yet a player still has to control you as you solve puzzles and adventure your way to the end, where you’ll face an HE or BE ending of uncertain quality.
Zhudeng: I’ll smash your ancestors’ dam! Luckily, with nobody controlling the game, the scene freezes right here. Neither you nor the vengeful ghost can move.
You, unable to open your eyes because of the stench: The thought of spending the rest of my life face-to-face with a ghost in this awkward pose makes me want to shit myself! That foul smell keeps invading my nose every second.
Just as you despair at the thought of spending the rest of your life stuck in this wretched position, you hear a low, gentle male voice coming from somewhere: “Hm? You can actually think for yourself?”
Zhudeng: Damn, there’s another male ghost with such a nice voice?
The next second: double trouble…
I’M! SO! DEAD!
