Standing by Ares

This differs from the original plot and uses only a few elements from the show. It has an original female lead and breaks up the canon couples. The story takes place in a different timeline. Don’t read if that bothers you. A sweet romance between a domineering squad leader and a mischievous little bunny.

The Ares Star is a guardian planet in the Milky Way. Its people revere technology and strength, and its military power far surpasses that of the other planets in the galaxy.

Lu Yiwei is the daughter of King Lu Yishi and the princess of Ares. She grew up with the three squad leaders of the Netherworld Legion, and they have been childhood friends since they were little.

Qiao Shefei had dreamed of becoming a hairstylist since childhood. But the year he was born, Ares was in turmoil, and his parents were brutally killed by space pirates. Lu Yishi took him back to the royal city, where he grew up.

A thousand years later, deep in the Panlam Grasslands, Qiao Shefei dug up the wish box she had hidden. Written clearly on it were the words:

I want to be with Qiao Qiao forever.

Qiao Shefei smiled and murmured to himself:

I want to be with you forever, too.

Everyone knew that Squad Leader Qiao Shefei, the peerless God of War who had risen from the bottom to become the only one of the three squad leaders to reach the top of the Netherworld Legion, was actually a devoted husband and a gentle father who gave his children everything they wanted. It was enough to make anyone’s jaw drop.

Squad Leader, the young master blew up your Shadowsteed…

Squad Leader, the young master set the back garden on fire, too…

Squad Leader, Madam has left home with the young master…

Qiao Shefei sighed and rubbed his forehead. His own little troublemaker had to be spoiled, even if he had to do it on his knees. And his wife had to be spoiled even more.
