Han Li is ambushed by the Creator Nightmare, an incarnation of the Primordial Spirit of Creation. One of Han Li's soul fragments is sent to the Yellow Springs. Caught up in the dream, a soul fragment of Nangong Wan is dragged into the Yellow Springs as well. Their magic powers completely vanish, leaving them as ordinary ghosts. Only the Heaven Palm Bottle activates in response, following Han Li, but it too mutates and becomes a supreme treasure of the ghost path. Starting out as ordinary ghosts, Han Li and Nangong Wan use the Heaven Palm Bottle's abilities and their own hard work to cultivate and brave dangerous adventures, gradually increasing their cultivation until they finally defeat the Creator Nightmare and return to the Divine Realm.
