In 2157 AD, the time travel theory was finally cracked. However, this technology is not as beautiful as humans imagine - every time they travel will cause ripples in time and space, causing small irreversible changes in history. These changes are called "time dust".
Adrian Wells, chief scientist of the Time Security Agency, invented the "time dust" monitoring system to prevent time travel from having a catastrophic impact on reality.
