The Twilight of the Gods in the War Against Japan

Li Dingguo, an unemployed young man from a remote town, suddenly collapses after endless late nights and overtime.

His girlfriend's betrayal, his boss's exploitation, his family's expectations: everything is like an invisible chain, binding him tight.

“Li Dingguo: Is this really... how it all ends for me?”

“: Are you really... content with that?”

“Li Dingguo: No, but what can I do? I'm just a screw that's been ground to pieces...”

“Then let's set the world ablaze with a storm!”

In that instant, the unbearable resentment he felt at the moment of death became a blazing fury, tearing apart the course of fate.

Darkness surged, and heaven and earth shook.

When he opened his eyes again, the stench of gunpowder hit him; at his ears were the whistles of bullets flying past, and the roar of iron hooves mingled with bugle calls.

The chaotic 1930s opened its bloodstained arms to him.
