[Completed] Lin Xiaosheng, the campus heartthrob at A University, is a cool academic genius, an untouchable flower on a high peak. He lives by one rule: stay away from trouble.
And Zhao Wang, with that beautiful face, became his biggest problem on the very first day of school.
When a gang corners him, Zhao Wang hides behind him. “Xiaosheng, they’re picking on me~”
When admirers won’t leave him alone, Zhao Wang slings an arm around his shoulders. “Sorry, he’s taken.”
Even when his family pressures him to get married, Zhao Wang shows up at his door with a contract. “Pretend to be my boyfriend. Name your price.”
Lin Xiaosheng: “…No.”
Zhao Wang: “Final exam notes + one-on-one tutoring + three free meals a day + available whenever you need me.”
Lin Xiaosheng: “…For how long?”
*At first, Lin Xiaosheng thought this was just a mutually beneficial arrangement.
He watched Zhao Wang act with cool detachment, telling himself that his racing heart was only because Zhao Wang was such a good actor.
But when make-believe turned real and he fell too deep, he realized that Zhao Wang had been working his way toward him all along. He wasn’t fooling anyone else: he was deceiving Lin Xiaosheng’s frozen heart.
Main couple: beautiful, scheming seme Zhao Wang × cool, handsome uke Lin Xiaosheng
Side couple: sunny student athlete Han Conglu VS gentle upperclassman He Ye
