Mountain guard Guan Hao originally lived an unconventional life on mountain patrols, but his tranquility was broken by the anxious village chief.
Sudden changes occurred in the Guanye Temple in the village: prayers did not work, livestock died suddenly, whispers were heard in the middle of the night, and villagers suffered from strange symptoms one after another. Guan Hao went down the mountain to investigate, and with his keen sense, he discovered the evil broken sword hidden in the temple and the ancient spirit entrenched on it.
Faced with the deteriorating situation and the panic of the villagers, Guan Hao had to step forward. He went deep into the mountains and forests to seek enlightenment, prepared magic weapons to defeat evil, and laid traps. Finally, at the alternation of yin and yang, he used himself as bait to lure the spirits into the urn, and launched a thrilling temple battle. However, although the temple was temporarily purified and the villagers were rescued, the escaped spirits and the evil Taoist nun who never appeared still planted new hidden worries for the vast mountains.
