The Honor of Kings World Championship, deciding game. The national team's star mid-laner is unexpectedly absent, and it's a disastrous start from the get-go!
As chaos erupts at the venue, the broadcast camera suddenly swings aside and catches a frantic-looking delivery guy, Lin Tian. “I'm going to be late. What am I supposed to do if I make this trip for nothing?”
The opponents are overjoyed. A lifeline? More like a joke! They force him to play mid, and he counters by locking in Daji! With zero runes, no less!
The whole internet is flooded with mockery: “A nepotism hire?” “Get off the stage!” “Just forfeit already!”
The Korean champion team, Star, can barely contain their laughter. “Focus Daji! This game's in the bag!”
And yet...
His Daji darts in and out of the bushes seven times, predicts enemy moves like she has cheats on, steals blue buff and dragons, and deletes the enemy carries. On low health, he pulls off a spectacular pentakill, using his unorthodox playstyle to shatter the pros' meticulously planned tactics!
One match makes him a legend, setting the whole internet ablaze!
In the post-match interview, facing hundreds of millions of viewers, Lin Tian holds the microphone with a blank look on his face. “Um... can you confirm receipt now? Otherwise, they're really going to dock my pay.”
From then on, esports welcomes its most outrageous champion ever: the delivery guy.
Pro team: “His playstyle makes no sense! It doesn't fit the current meta!”
Lin Tian: “What meta? This order's almost overdue. It's fine to take a shortcut, right?”
Their opponents study his footage until they're pulling their hair out. “His game sense isn't human!”
Lin Tian: “After making deliveries for so long, calculating time and routes is basic stuff. No big deal.”
With the lightning-fast reflexes, terrain awareness, and “never be late” determination he honed on delivery runs, he finally steps onto the professional stage. A grassroots comeback storm is about to sweep through the league! This is a delivery route that leads straight to the summit!
