In Chongqing in 1940, translator Shen Qing was responsible for deciphering the Japanese army's secret messages and discovered that the Japanese army planned to "bomb the Chongqing arsenal." She wanted to pass on information, but was suspected by the military commander of being a "Japanese special" (because her brother was in the Japanese army camp). At the critical moment, the underground party liaison "Lao Zhou" proved her innocence, and the two joined forces to send intelligence to the arsenal before the Japanese bombing to save important equipment.
