The story takes place in the Western coastal city "Xincang City" in the year 2150. On the surface, it is a financial center with prosperous technology. There are hovercars shuttled between skyscrapers, but a network of "relics of ancient gods" is buried underground. After the "Psychic Awakening" incident a hundred years ago, some humans awakened to the ability to control energy. The "fire" left behind by the ancient gods became the core source of psychic energy. The city was secretly divided by psychic forces. Ordinary people knew very little about the psychic world and only regarded abnormal events as "technological accidents."
