Eredom was once a world where magic flourished and multiple races (humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, etc.) Coexisted. It had a glorious civilization and firm beliefs. However, in the past one or two hundred years, due to competition for resources, conflict of ideas, abuse of magic, or ancient grudges, "rift wars" broke out that swept the entire world. This war lasted for a long time and was extremely destructive. It led to the regression of civilization, a sharp decline in population, the division of the country, and the loss of much knowledge. The belief system connecting the gods became weak due to war and suffering and was even abandoned by some people.
The world is devastated, cities are in ruins, monsters are breeding in the wilderness, and trust between various races is broken and they are barely surviving.
When the world was about to fall apart, God once again lowered His compassionate gaze.
