Betrayed by his gold-digging girlfriend, Zhang Xuan is brutally murdered by the wealthy young heir Zhou Ting with a crystal ashtray. It is the end of Zhang Xuan’s fate, but also the beginning of a legend.
At death’s door, he accidentally awakens the slumbering patriarch of the Zhang family and inherits the supreme arts of medicine and martial combat, reborn through the flames! Seething with rage, he swiftly slays his enemy, but this also brings the unstoppable pursuit of the immense Zhou family. To secure a chance at survival, he is forced to flee far away and conceal his identity by joining the Northern Frontier Army.
In that crucible of blood and fire, Zhang Xuan draws on his mastery of both medicine and martial arts, as well as his unyielding spirit. Starting as the lowliest soldier, he fights through bloodshed, earns repeated distinction, and rises against all odds until he holds power over the empire and commands a million troops. He is honored as the Invincible God of War and appointed the empire’s foremost marshal!
Meanwhile, in the city’s business world, Su Qinghan, a brilliant businesswoman with a sharp mind and a gift for strategy, is waging a war without gunfire against Zhang Xuan’s old enemies. The threads of fate intertwine, and a chance encounter brings together two kings of their respective domains. She is amazed by his iron resolve and mystery; he admires her intelligence and boldness. Joining forces, they not only stir up the city but also quietly fall deeply in love as they fight side by side, building a wonderful marriage that blends steely resolve with tenderness.
This is an urban legend of a avenger returned from hell, a Northern Frontier marshal who commands the empire, and a man who finds a happy love at last!
