One night, Lin Ye stays late at work and accidentally wanders into the “Bone China Apartments,” plunging into a terrifying cycle with no rules. There are no instructions here: the only way to find a way out is to explore on your own. First comes the eerie apartment overrun with ivy and hiding bone china dolls that can “walk.” After that, each randomly shifting location is a deadly place: it might be an abandoned hospital reeking of rust and decay, where strange, unknown sounds echo, or an old clock shop where every clock is frozen at midnight and cries for help come from behind the doors.
Every place is haunted by an unfinished tale of horror. The whispers of bone china dolls, the blurry smiling faces in old photographs, the shadow that suddenly appears beneath the bed: all are deadly traps. Along the way, he meets Su Xiao, who is trapped there too. They can only rely on each other, piecing together the hidden connections between the different locations through repeated experiments that bring them close to death.
They gradually realize that all the haunted domains seem to point to a forgotten secret, and the price of finding it may be confronting a truth more terrifying than death. With their chances of survival slim and fear following them like a shadow, can they tear through the darkness and regain their freedom in this endless hunt for survival?
