Chen Haisheng, commander of the Red Dragon Squad in the Republic's elite Jiaolong Assault Team, was gravely wounded and fell into a coma while escorting a convoy in Somalia. When he woke, he had somehow transmigrated to 1937 and become a Guangdong Army company commander named Lin Haisheng. His given name was the same, but his surname was different! At that moment, the troops were urgently assembling, ready to head for the blood-soaked battlefield of Shanghai.
War fires blazed, and the land lay shattered! Yesterday's special forces elite was today's soldier in the War of Resistance Against Japan. Armed with modern tactics and a heart full of patriotic fervor, Lin Haisheng was determined to brave the flames of war alongside the men of Guangdong, fight his way through the inferno, and forge an unbreakable backbone for the nation with their blood and steel!
