History Livestream: I’m an Intangible Cultural Heritage Successor

[Historical livestream] [Intangible cultural heritage techniques] [Spring Festival customs] [Gourmet] [Female lead, no romance]

Shen Mengxi’s livestream is never just an ordinary glimpse of life: from freshly made rice paper drying on the flagstones of a Jiangnan courtyard to a lively pig-slaughter feast in a northeastern courtyard, from the Four Great Inventions to Spring Festival customs, she is devoted to sharing folk traditions so more people can learn about these techniques. But...

“Miss, what is movable-type printing?”

“Miss, how is this paper so smooth and even?”

She never expected her livestream to connect to every dynasty throughout history...

From then on, her livestream became a teahouse of intangible cultural heritage spanning time and space: from the modern legacy of the Four Great Inventions to the living traditions of customs from north to south, Shen Mengxi holds an ancient scroll, with the visions of sages from every dynasty behind her.

“Look, a thousand years later, we still hold our ancestors’ wisdom close to our hearts.”
