Commander Lu, She Has Some Nerve

Through a twist of fate, Lu Zhao became a court official. “Dad, I don’t want to be an official! I want to get married. I want a man to warm my bed!”

But the cold, domineering Prince Regent Xiao Jue held her firmly in place. “As a man, stand in the court and fulfill your ambitions.”

Lu Zhao: “Ambitions? My ambition is to feel someone’s abs! Who am I supposed to get revenge on?”

The young emperor on the throne nodded furiously. “Everything Lord Lu says is right!”

Her older brother held his forehead. “My sister’s really outdone herself this time!”

The court officials were outraged. “What a disgrace! This is the most depraved kind of debauchery!”

But the noble ladies’ eyes sparkled. “Commander Lu is so handsome! We’d love him even if he were into men!”

Lu Zhao: “What? No! I’m not!”

This is a hilarious tale of political intrigue (?) about a woman disguised as a man who just wants to lie flat and slack off, but gets forced into becoming the nation’s heartthrob, all while engaging in an intense push-and-pull with a prince! Watch her keep her secret identity under wraps as she stirs up the court, until at last...

The history books say: “Lu Zhao was a giant who stood at the crossroads of two eras. With extraordinary wisdom and resolve, she breathed a modern spirit into an ancient empire.”
