Top Agent, Her Laugh Sends the Entertainment World into a Frenzy

Top agent Sheng Jiaojiao meets a death worthy of being the “most mortifying in spy history”: during a mission, she gets so embarrassed by her own joke that her soul practically leaves her body!

When she opens her eyes again, she has become Sheng Jiaojiao, a washed-up actress ranked near the bottom of the industry and hated across the internet. She's so broke her pockets are practically ringing, and she's saddled with an astronomical penalty for pulling out of a variety show. Lie flat? Not a chance! To avoid starving, she grits her teeth and joins a livestreamed variety show.

Who could have guessed that her first encounter would reveal the top-tier star and award-winning actor Pei Xiao's unexpected side? On camera, he's the cool, elegant national heartthrob. In private, one offhand spy joke from her is enough to make him suppress his laughter until his ears turn red.

When a funny former agent meets an actor who's nothing like his public image, they trade barbs on set, sabotage each other in games, and “fight” over trending topics. The haters are dumbfounded, and the shippers are going wild. How did the internet's most hated actress manage to drag an award-winning actor into her chaos too?!
