The Apocalypse Arrives: From the Start, I Won the Lottery and Stockpiled a Million in Supplies

[Apocalypse + strong heroine + extreme cold + supernatural powers + no romance + teammates]

Li Jiayin is an ordinary office drone. Unlike her coworkers, though, she loves reading apocalypse novels, and she has just won a huge lottery prize.

“I'm done with this lousy job!” Li Jiayin declares boldly, immediately files her resignation, and heads back to her hometown.

Back home, Li Jiayin decides to fulfill her lifelong dream: building an apocalypse shelter of her own!

Just after Li Jiayin finishes renovating her house and stocking it with supplies, ready to lounge around at home with her cat, the extreme cold really does arrive!

Just as people get used to the freezing temperatures, a true disaster quietly descends.

The temperature on Blue Star rises overnight, an eerie blood moon appears in the sky, plants and animals mutate, and humanity faces an immense struggle to survive.

Li Jiayin cries out, “This is nothing like what I imagined!”

Reader's guide:

1. This isn't a power fantasy from the very first chapter. The heroine grows stronger gradually.

2. The heroine isn't a lone wolf; she has teammates.

3. The extreme cold comes first, followed by mutations in plants and animals, and the main cast will all gain supernatural powers. If you don't want to read about the extreme cold, you can skip those parts without affecting the later plot.

This is the author's first time writing, so please go easy on me if it's not very good. Feel free to point out anything that needs fixing, and I'll do my best to revise it!
