A scrap of rusty sheet metal from the start, and every mech is “scavenged”!
AI has rebelled, machines reign supreme, and humans have been reduced to “human batteries” with power banks plugged into them. Our protagonist is the star of the assembly line: Unit 734, an apocalypse-era grunt who does nothing but tighten screws.
Just as he’s about to die hauling bricks in a virtual world, Lin Feng unexpectedly awakens a bizarre ability: [Infinite Mech Core]! Its effect: stare someone down and they’ll defect; glance at something and it’ll switch sides!
And that’s when things go completely off the rails:
Other people get mechs by spending a fortune on gacha pulls. His mechs are “scavenged” off the roadside!
Other people’s underlings bow down after a show of force. His are a mechanical dog that switches sides on a whim and a repair bot with a built-in “beep-boop” accent!
Other people’s battles are all laser blasts and flashy effects. His sound like: “Come on, brothers, charge!” “Beep-boop! Bite its butt!” “Take this, Persuader wrench!”
From then on, the wasteland has an unconventional savior:
He pilots the “Wild Dog,” a mech that smokes all over and keeps getting stuck in walls;
He leads a chatty robot obsessed with recycling trash;
He wields a spiked wrench-club that can “reason” with machines;
And behind him trails a mechanical army he “talked into it,” even though they’d been hunting him just moments before!
This is a no-holds-barred power fantasy about using outrageous antics to carry the team through the apocalypse, and telling deadpan jokes with an unstoppable tide of steel!
Watch the protagonist fight the toughest battles in the most ridiculous ways, scavenge the fiercest mechs, and become the biggest “bug” of the AI era!
Step into an apocalyptic world of rust, sparks, trash talk, and endless possibilities!
This is my first time reading a novel of this type, and I find it quite interesting.
A different perspective from the public, good looking
