Lu Zhao transmigrates to another world, where his soul fuses with an incomplete Dao seed. He hides away in Qingyan Village, working as a herb gatherer.
A sudden upheaval: an ancient tree exhales black mist, villagers fall unconscious, and danger lurks everywhere.
By chance, he gains a golden finger that lets him steal spiritual energy from heaven and earth and use it for himself.
At midnight each day, it automatically extracts the aura of the strongest spirit tree within a hundred li.
He seems ordinary on the surface, but is secretly gathering power enough to defy the heavens.
While others struggle through arduous cultivation with little progress, he quietly reaches the first level of the Dao Wheel.
In the end, he will gather all the fragments of the Dao seed, become one with the Dao Seed Tree, and rule the myriad worlds.
