Ye Fan was once a top Immortal Venerable in the Supreme Immortal Realm. After being betrayed by a close relative or dear friend, or ambushed by several equally powerful experts while fighting for a chance to transcend, his body was destroyed. A fragment of his soul survived and accidentally fell into a modern city with scant spiritual energy, a low-martial world. He possessed the body of a recently deceased man who shared his name, Ye Fan. He discovered that this Ye Fan had not only a wife in name, but also a biological daughter he had never met, Baobao, as well as a younger sister, Ye Yangyang, who needed his care. And so this generation's Immortal Venerable was forced to begin a hilarious, heartwarming, invincible urban life as both father and mother, eventually returning to the Immortal Realm.
