After the great changes, the "Lighthouse" dome became the last refuge of mankind. There is order and appropriate temperature control, but the price is permanent confinement and historical oblivion.
Ling Li, a "dust citizen" struggling at the bottom of the dome, makes a living by salvaging old world parts from the scrap area. By accident, he found a broken recorder. The flickering images of the old world—an endless blue called the "ocean"—made him doubt the "dead land" outside the dome for the first time.
He brought the recorder to An Ying, an administrator who worked in the database and had a grudge against official history. The two were jointly shocked by the lost glory and determined to decipher the final signal pointing to external coordinates in the recorder.
Their search touched the most sensitive nerves of Dome Dominion. A chase ensues. Two individuals as small as dust, in order to touch an unknown possibility, resolutely stepped into the ruins that were declared to be absolutely fatal, trying to find a real dawn for mankind in the twilight of doomsday.
