What?! My Online Crush Is My Best Friend’s Brother!

[A world-weary gamer girl x a cocky, witty guy]

[Both are each other’s first love + university romance]

She’s been playing since the game launched. He’s a small-time gaming streamer.

For the generous in-game rewards, they become an in-game couple. One thing leads to another, and they start an online romance. Yes, just like that.

Who would’ve thought that after meeting in person, Yun Wanyi would discover her online boyfriend was her best friend’s older brother?

That would be one thing, but how was he also Yun Wanyi’s favorite gaming streamer?

Was the person she liked the same guy all along?

Later, Yun Wanyi stares at Xu Kairui’s photo and traces it over and over. She even knows the curve of his eyelids by heart.

-

While they’re dating,

Yun Wanyi buys another phone case exactly like the one she bought last time. She sighs,

“I guess I’m sentimental.”

“Is that so?” Xu Kairui says. “Good thing you don’t have an ex-boyfriend.”

“?” She deliberately puts on a cold expression. “I could get one.”

“...Don’t, Yiyi, baby.” He changes his tune fast.

Yun Wanyi: “.” Anyway, she doesn’t want to break up with Xu Kairui.

She was only joking.

-

“Xu Yuan, stay by my side forever.”

*Online romance + real-life romance*

P.S. This isn’t a traditional esports story. I may have picked the wrong tags, but there are still some gaming scenes.
