Amid Jiangcheng's eleventh straight day of torrential rain, private detective Lin Yan takes on a bizarre job: his client, Chen Mo, wants him to find his own self from three days ago. With an old watch stopped at 3:07, mysterious symbols, and wrinkles in time appearing, they are drawn into a conspiracy surrounding a time experiment spanning twenty years. Each "duplicate" can exist for only 72 hours, while four fragments of time hidden in corners of the city are devouring every forgotten memory. As the rain floods the streets and clock hands begin turning backward, are they correcting time, or have they long been trapped in an eternal loop? Or is time itself a loop?
