"Kirishima Postman" tells the story of a young man, Lin Ye, who came to Kirishima, which is shrouded in fog all year round, in search of a quiet job, and became a postman responsible for delivering "dead letters". In the process, he met the lampkeeper Awu and came into contact with the letters "sent to the past". As he explored Kirishima's secrets, Lin Ye discovered that his mother had a past that was shrouded in fog with Kirishima and the former lampkeeper Chen Hai, and Awu was the daughter of his mother and Chen Hai. In the process of guarding the lighthouse and dealing with old letters, Lin Ye and Wu not only uncovered the secrets of the family, but also jointly explored the meaning of love, longing and time in Kiri Island, which is full of fantasy and warmth, allowing those emotions and memories trapped in the fog to gradually find their home.
