After transmigrating, Su Shiyu became a short-lived cannon-fodder character in a historical romance novel!
In the original story, the frail "heir" of the Marquis of Zhenbei's household, who disguised herself as a man, coveted the beauty of the down-on-his-luck Song Qichi. She tried to take advantage of him while he was unable to resist, thoroughly provoking the King of Hell.
In the end, her identity was exposed, her family was destroyed, and she died without a body to bury.
Su Shiyu looked at the future tyrant before her, drugged and bound hand and foot by her predecessor, then thought of the blade of the crime of deceiving the emperor hanging over her own neck...
Su Shiyu: ...I think I can still salvage this!
Just then, the "Survival Guide to Desperate Situations" System activated:
[Mission 1: Repair your image and earn your target's trust!]
[Mission 2: Protect your secret and keep up the "heir" act!]
[Warning: If your points hit zero or your identity is exposed, you will be eliminated immediately!]
From then on, a "devoted and deeply affectionate" young heir appeared at Song Qichi's side.
She shielded him from open attacks, guarded him against hidden dangers, and risked her life for him.
At last, when everything settled, the new emperor, Xiao Junyi, returned to the Eastern Palace.
Looking at the one he loved, the emperor asked, his heart full of conflicting emotions, "What do you want?"
Su Shiyu was overjoyed, her mental wish list racing through the calculations: an imperial pardon, thousands of acres of fertile land, handsome men, and the freedom to enjoy life!
The next day, she tucked away her banknotes and was preparing to make a run for it when the Imperial Guards stopped her at the city gate.
Looking at the man before her, his expression wounded yet obsessive, his eyes red at the corners and his whole bearing seething with menace, Su Shiyu felt that something was wrong with this script.
Then the once-frail beauty, who could barely care for himself, spoke in a hoarse, feverish voice:
"Fertile land? I'll give you the whole realm."
"Freedom? Every step you take must be by my side!"
"You want handsome men? Don't even think about it!"
