Song of the Blue Wolf

In the vast grasslands of northwest China from the 1980s to the early 21st century, a female wolf "Snow Er" with white hair on the tip of her left ear lost her pack at an early age and struggled to survive in the grasslands with her tenacity and wisdom. It has experienced three times of ethnic reconstruction and two child losses, and has always guarded the survival laws of the grassland. At the same time, Tengger, a grassland herdsman, made a living by hunting wolves when he was young. After a life-and-death confrontation with Xue Er, he witnessed Xue Er's wisdom and tenderness, and completely changed his understanding of wolves. He transformed from a wolf hunter to a guardian of grassland ecology, established a conservation group, promoted the "returning grazing land to grassland", and fought for the living space of wolves. Xue'er and Tengger, one wolf and one man, went from initial opposition to helping each other and establishing trust and bonds across species amidst crises such as grassland ecological changes, poacher intrusions, and grassland fires. Xue'er leads the group to maintain the ecological balance of the grassland, while Tengger uses human power to protect the wolves and the grassland. As time goes by, Xue'er has entered old age, Tengger has turned gray at the temples, and the new generation of grassland guardian Batu has taken over the baton. In the end, Xue Er passed away peacefully in the company of the tribe, and its spirit and Tengger's guardianship work together turned into a "Song of the Wild Wolf", witnessing the hope and inheritance of harmonious coexistence between man and wolf, man and nature on the grassland.
