In a highly connected future, a subconscious interaction technology known as the “Heart Abyss” is widely used. The protagonist is a down-and-out “memory detective” skilled at finding the truth in fragments of other people's subconscious minds. Forced into a vast conspiracy, he must rely on his wits to navigate the treacherous boundary between reality and consciousness, engaging in one dangerous battle of wits after another against the hidden mastermind.
