[Demon Slayer fanfic] [Technology-focused] [Not a power fantasy] [Making up for past regrets] I transmigrated into the world of Demon Slayer, but I’m incompatible with the Breathing Style? No problem! Ever heard of Wisteria extract? How about high-pressure fuel tanks? Scientific principles are the primary productive force! And so the Demon Slayer Corps gets a complete makeover:
Giyu Tomioka: “…It works.”
Sanemi Shinazugawa: “Hmph, this junk… isn’t half bad.”
Shinobu Kocho: “Could you make one for me too?”
When a metal storm wreathed in blazing scarlet flames sweeps through the night, Muzan stares in total disbelief, clutching a tentacle charred by an explosion:
“Wait a second! People are using high-tech tricks to kill demons these days?! Even Yoriichi wasn’t this ridiculous!”
It’s only when he gets blasted in the face with an incredibly powerful ultraviolet spotlight that he finally breaks down and sobs: “Seriously… what kind of decent person kills demons with flamethrowers and sunlight grenades? Wait… what’s that tube in your hand, the one glowing purple? You’re such a cheater!!”
Watch a tech geek, in an ordinary human body, stand shoulder to shoulder with the Hashira and write an unconventional legend of demon slaying with steel and fire!
[The story begins roughly five years before the original timeline… Giyu has just become the Water Hashira. Includes a small amount of original content and strictly avoids out-of-character behavior.]
The idea is good, but what I feel now is that the firepower is insufficient. The protagonist has not been able to make any progress so far. The timeline has passed a bit too fast. Inosuke's three little ones have all appeared.
The characters are distinct and the plot is better
The first chapter can be changed. It seems that Yiyong said it before he introduced himself. It's strange. The fight between Zhu and Xixian in Chapter 2 doesn't seem to be very intense. Since it has to be different from the original work, it should be more difficult. If I missed it, please point me out. This guy didn't even do the experiment and he was already in actual combat. He burned the bottom string to death :)
