The Bell Tower on a Foggy Night

The city's landmark, a century-old clock tower, rang out of season on a fog-shrouded night. The next day, a highly respected philanthropist was found dead inside a locked room in the tower, the scene arranged like some eerie ritual.

Elite police officer Lin Ke is assigned to investigate, only to find that every piece of evidence points to someone who “died” three years ago. Is this a vengeful ghost seeking justice, or a carefully planned act of revenge? The deeper Lin Ke digs, the more she realizes the case is closely tied to a collective tragedy long buried in the past. Beneath the glow of charity, is there hypocrisy or redemption? And where are the victims of old now?

Amid layers of fog, Lin Ke must find the crucial thread in this web of lies. Otherwise, when the bell tolls again, another victim will die.
