In a future society where "memories can be extracted and sold," the protagonist Lin Ye is forced to cooperate with the mysterious memory hunter Su Xia in order to retrieve the last stolen memory of his deceased wife. Unexpectedly, he uncovers a huge conspiracy to "clear alien memories" behind memory trafficking, and finally makes a choice between "preserving painful memories" and "accepting reality."
