Tales from Wangchuan

The Annals of Wangchuan is an epic tale centered on “protecting peace.” It follows Wangchuan City, on the border between Dajing and Shuomo, as generations of guardians pass down their legacy, leading the city from turmoil to lasting peace. Shen Yan, the first city lord, and Su Wan, who carries the bloodline of the River-Tracing Jade, set out to find the Heart of Kunlun and the Heart of River-Tracing in order to resist the Shadow Alliance and the Ink Sect, forces bent on destroying peace between the two peoples. By combining the power of the two hearts, they imbue the Wangchuan River with an everlasting force of nature and lay the foundations for peace. After them, generations of guardians, including Shen Wangchuan, Shen Chengze, Shen Mingyu, and Shen Tianyou, take turns protecting Wangchuan City. They pacify bandits, fight shadow messengers who devour nature, open new trade routes across the sea, promote cultural integration among the three peoples, and establish children’s exchange camps and a physicians’ hall. In time, Dajing, Shuomo, and the Kunlun Realm go from strangers to one big family. The River-Tracing Jade records every memory of passion and warmth, while the Wangchuan River bears witness to the steadfast dedication of each generation of guardians. From raging wars to celebrations shared by all three peoples, from constant danger to peaceful and prosperous lives, The Annals of Wangchuan uses a legacy of duty and friendship passed down through the generations to tell an everlasting tale of responsibility, friendship, and peace.
