Roger, a child of the countless mountains.
Parents in the Eastern Nation put the show “Metamorphosis” on a pedestal, using hardship as an excuse to cover up their own failures as parents.
But all the children feel is that they’ve been abandoned and deceived.
Only when they grow up do they understand that no matter how hard they work throughout their lives, they can never match those born into families with generations of high-ranking officials.
That day,
the production crew found this locally famous problem-setter. Thinking they’d struck gold for the show, they had no idea they were letting a beast out of its cage.
Building a powerless exoskeleton by hand, creating a quadrupedal mech, publishing a mathematical almanac, developing a Tianyuan Go AI and a large language model...
To fulfill his promise to someone beneath the water, he is steadily climbing toward the highest throne in science and technology!
Looking back, the “Metamorphosis” he has already consigned to the grave seems ridiculous: the ones who most needed to be reformed were the show and the parents!
“Professor Luo, it seems you’ve had a very clear purpose all along?”
“Yes.
“The powerless exoskeleton laid the technological groundwork for movable joints, and biological conversion solved the power problem. A large language model is an unavoidable step on the road from weak AI to strong AI. Once these technologies reach their peak and are combined, they will be enough to give rise to a superintelligent, silicon-based, transformable life-form.
“In other words, what you call... the Transformers!”
Not 5 stars because the writing technique feels less like writing a novel and more like writing an essay?
A very good novel with a novel direction. The emotional scenes are well written, but there are too many. The description of the characters is light and rough, and the interaction with the protagonist is insufficient. From the macro perspective, it is like a child playing in the market with gold.
