Obsession with Journey to the West: The Escape from Mount Lingshan Begins

[Dark Journey to the West] + [Obsession-Devouring System] + [Villain Protagonist] + [Manifesting Inner Demons] + [Overturning the Order] + [Ensemble Cast from Journey to the West] When the journey to fetch the scriptures in the West turns out to be a carefully orchestrated scam, who can break free from the chains of fate? A remnant of evil intent split from Sun Wukong's mind escapes from Lingshan's Mirror of Illusions. Burdened with a Soul-Slaying Curse, it becomes bound to the Obsession System: it can see the obsessions of all things and devour them to strengthen itself, and it can manifest inner demons to disrupt the hearts and minds of gods, Buddhas, and cultivators! From then on, a mad schemer joins the journey west. He recruits the Black Bear, allies with the Star Spirits, and turns the Roc against his allies to form the Inner Demon Alliance. He devours obsessions and shatters delusions, stirring up trouble in the Kingdom of Chechi and secretly crossing the Tongtian River. Every step tears at the web of the journey to fetch the scriptures, woven so carefully by the Tathagata. Overturn Journey to the West and reshape the Three Realms. This is the wild tale of a calculating remnant devouring obsessions and manifesting inner demons, until it finally flips the chessboard at Lingshan.
