Half-Immersive Quick Transmigration
Jiahe was a red spider lily who had developed a spirit. The Underworld discovered her and sent her a job offer, making her a civil servant there.
Over the past few centuries, resentment had caused the number of ghosts lingering in the Underworld and refusing to be reborn to grow. The higher-ups took one look and realized they couldn’t just leave them there. With so many ghosts refusing reincarnation, small-scale disturbances broke out from time to time, causing the Underworld no end of trouble.
Thus, Underworld civil servants came into being. They empathized with resentful ghosts unwilling to be reborn and entered small worlds to help them resolve their regrets.
This shared experience made the ghosts feel as though they had lived through everything themselves, much like being reborn.
Once someone became a ghost, all that remained was obsession; little of their human reason was left. So civil servants didn’t have to follow the original person’s personality exactly, but they couldn’t stray too far from it either. Otherwise, the ghosts would feel that they weren’t themselves, and their resentment would only grow instead of dissipating.
If it's really immersive enough, you shouldn't write a semi-immersive one 🙂

It's average, a bit verbose, and some plots are repeated three or four times.
