Designer Su Nian was forced to sign a one-year contract marriage with CEO Lu Jingshen in order to save the family studio that was on the verge of bankruptcy. Lu Jingshen needed "married" status to cope with his family's pressure to get married, and Su Nian needed cash flow. The two agreed not to interfere in each other's private lives. But Lu Jingshen secretly helped Su Nian win an international design award when she was suppressed by her peers; Su Nian also used her design talents to help Lu Jingshen recover from his losses when he encountered a "business leak", and the contract marriage gradually turned sour.
