The Origin of the Primordial Age

A million years ago, the war between gods and demons came to an end. After the Ziwei Emperor disintegrated himself, the Ziwei Edict and fragments of his star armor scattered across the mortal realm. Legend has it that whoever obtains the edict can gain divine power and reach the Quasi-Emperor realm. Hou Mo, a young man from Mohist Village, stumbles upon a stone slab that may hold a clue to the Ziwei Edict and is caught up in a struggle between competing factions. His grandfather sacrifices himself to protect him, and Hou Mo awakens the power of the stars, only to be possessed by the lingering soul of Ye Xuan, the Demon Emperor.

To master his power and seal Ye Xuan, Hou Mo joins the Vajra Sect. With the help of close friends such as Liu Baiyi, he cultivates the Starfall Canon, learns swordsmanship, and grows stronger. Along the way, he must face challenges from fellow disciples such as Lei Xiao, the schemes of the Evil God Cult, and Ye Xuan's attempts to consume him from within. As spiritual energy undergoes a strange transformation and an age of prosperity gives way to chaos, the Vajra Sect faces crises from within and without: Qingyun Zi's tribulation, the rebellion of traitors such as Elder Li, the descent of an Evil God's projection, and more.

Hou Mo grows through one life-or-death trial after another, discovering that Ye Xuan's scheme is far more terrifying than he imagined: he intends to use Hou Mo's body and a blood-sacrifice formation to break free of his seal. To protect his sect and all living beings, uncover the truth behind his grandfather's sacrifice, and find a way to seal Ye Xuan for good, Hou Mo sets out to find the lost fragments of the Starfall Canon. Along the way, he meets companions such as Xing Xuan and braves countless dangers in places like Starfall Ravine. He uncovers more mysteries surrounding the Ziwei Emperor, Ye Xuan, and ancient secrets, while a battle that will decide the survival of humanity gradually draws near.
