Three years after Tang Monk and his disciples learned Buddhist scriptures and became Buddhas, a demonic calamity reappeared in the Eastern Land. The Devouring Heavenly King destroys temples and burns scriptures, the Demon King of Letters distorts the true meaning, and reverses the order of time in his eagerness for success. The five saints reunited according to the decree and sailed Cihang to cross the mortal world again. Destroying the Dharma platform, cutting down the forest of cause and effect, and uprighting the upside down tower, the true scriptures will eventually turn into rain and moisten the people, and realize the ultimate truth that "Buddha's teachings are in the world and are not separated from the worldly awakening".
