The heroine Su Wantang is a descendant of Su embroidery, and the hero Gu Yan is a military agent. The two met because of a "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" embroidered with secrets, and jointly fought against the Japanese invaders and the Wang Puppet Government. In the process, they uncovered old family grudges, finally completed their mission and gained love.
